Welcome to the Foundation Camp Programs!
When School is out, the fun and excitement are just beginning. Get ready for an awesome Camp with spectacular Counselors and outstanding weeks full of activities, field trips, and fun! Our camps are designed to create lifelong memories, learn new skills and spend spring breaks and summers just being a kid! While we creativity implement critical thinking and academics throughout the camps your kids won’t miss a beat with amazing weekly themes and out of this world field trips. Get creative with our Spring Break Heroes Camp and develop your own superhero character to be acted out in a real live story or action comic, or get active in our Adventures Summer camp inclusive of field trips, water parks, indoor and outdoor activities and games. Our Adventures Summer Camp will not be enrolling for 2017 as this program is still being developed and properly accredited.
The primary objective for every camper is to have fun! As part of the program, camps aim to cater to the educational, physical and social development of campers. Children are encouraged to try new things in safe surroundings and our spring and summer camps are often the first time that many children spend an extended period of time away from home and parents. As such, a great deal of trust is imparted to the camps and the counselor to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Our Staff at the Camps
The adult supervisors at our camps are referred to as ‘counselors’ and are assigned to small groups of campers based on groups (ages). Our counselors are CPR certified and usually consisting of college students and graduates from neighboring Universities. With the staffing being very divers, choosing to hire international counselors also provides a first-hand cultural experience for the campers that adds a unique value to our camp programs
What will your kids do at our Camp?
The traditional view of a summer camp as an outdoor environment is evolving. In order to meet the ever-expanding interests and needs of campers, we are offering a wider variety of specialized activities that will provide your child with an amazing adventure and a life changing experience from creative indoor and outdoor activities to field trips every moment at camp is one that will leave an astounding mark on your child.
The Way Our Camps Work
It takes a lot of energetic and passionate people in a variety of roles to ensure that camp runs successfully be it Spring or Summer. The smooth running of the camp relies on many people with differing roles:
The Camp Director has the ultimate responsibility for running the camp and will deal with all major aspects of the successful running of the facility.
The Program Director organizes and oversees all the activities at camp. They schedule the campers into their selected activities and provide guidance to the activity specialists.
Most camps are divided into groups based on age and gender. For each group there will be a head counselor who is responsible for the counseling staff and all the children in that group. They co-ordinate all programs in their groups.
